Why:   Multiple Sclerosis is the most common autoimmune neurological disease in the world with over 26,000 living with the illness in Australia.

Over the last decade our understanding of MS has evolved dramatically from a pathophysiological and clinical perspective. Diagnostic and monitoring strategies have become more sophisticated and there are numerous disease modifying therapies with varying mechanisms of action and monitoring considerations.

These changes have fundamentally changed the prognosis of newly diagnosed patients.

As the next generation of neurologists it is essential to have a basic grounding in the clinical science of multiple sclerosis so that it can be recognised early and managed appropriately.

What: All neurology ATs, fellows and early career neurologists are invited to attend this special education event. A national panel of MS experts will provide dynamic presentations and round table workshops on the key aspects of MS clinical science especially designed for trainees.

Cost: The event is fully sponsored and therefore FREE for all attendees including all meals and snacks.
